Uh, it would have been nice to hit a few restaurants during the holidays or get lunch and a beer with some coworkers.
Oh. I was in North Carolina for the holidays and you’re allowed to do that there.
All restaurants in LA are currently closed?

Whitmer has shut down indoor dining in Michigan from Nov 18-Jan 15.

Stop complaining. It's for your own good. You need to stop worrying about your rights and start worrying about doing the right thing.
You can still eat outside. I don't see what the big deal is.

Very rarely in the history of humanity has a government gained massive power over its citizens and then let that power go without mass civil unrest or bloodshed.
The are going to hold onto this as long as they possibly again, especially with the incoming admin.

Because too many knuckle draggers refuse to take it. Lockdowns are here to stay

You're absolutely right; nothing has changed. On an unrelated note, wanna catch a Saints game with me?

Like why are we still doing something that clearly isn't working
Well the Covidians will say its because not everyone is doing their part, which recent history has shown to be false.

And last but certainly not least, not having to wear a stupid fricking mask everywhere (including at work).
What exactly can you not do now that you could do last year at this time?
ETA: Didn't even talk about my kids and how their poor little lives have been shaken up. No birthday parties, everything at school is done with the homeroom only so no recess with their friends in other homerooms. No Christmas play. No fair.
I mean the list goes on and on how everything in a social sense has been fricked with. From adults down to children. And it's hard to make a child understand that this is only temporary. Or is it?

Who is locked down?
Are there still states still locked down. Because in GA around me literally every business is completely opened up for business. Bars and clubs are fully operational. The only thing that hasn't come back are concerts and fans at large sporting events.
But in any case, the vaccine has only been out like 2 weeks. Nobody besides rich people, politicians, and certain healthcare workers have even received it yet. It hasn't really made it way into the Nursing homes yet, which I believe to be priority 1 yet.
An extremely small part of the population has been vaccinated yet. Likely gotta give it about 2-3 months for when the vaccine is available at your local Walgreens for everyday people to get.

And furthermore your people and citizens are corrupt as frick and want to vote a different way, so don't be bragging about how "free" you all are in Georgia too much. That part will soon be gone with your switch to a blue state and soon will be following Biden and Harris' orders waiting with bated breath like the good little blue sheep you all are.

None of these things equals being locked down. Also, most companies and businesses were doing these things already at the beginning of the pandemic before Governors started imposing any restrictions and did the official lockdown back in April and May.

Most of this board refuses to take the vaccine even if they could get one right now.

Like it really matters. Every single person in this country could take the vaccine, and mask mandates and other limitations will remain in place. Easy enough for politicians to just leave them in place since it A) keeps the Masked Covidian Karens from annoying them and B) they don't follow their own policies anyway.

Haven’t you heard? It doesn’t prevent the spread! Don’t take your masks off yet!
