Much better than a shitty frame bed about to break.
Why do you assume that everyone else has a "shitty frame bed about to break?"

They were fricking terrible. Why anyone ever wanted one of those damn things is beyond me.

I bought mine at Southern Comfort Waterbeds on Florida Blvd. in 1978. I'm still sleeping on it. A tree fell on it during Gustav so I had to replace the base. It's a full motion. Adjust the heat to your comfort level. Do the same with water for firmness level. Use a mattress pad to prevent sweating. Ahhhh warm wawa bed.

I had relations in one once. It was not nearly the quality of a normal bed.
If they were great, they'd have never gone out of style.

I would hate to try to go to bed drunk on one of those
I had a issue with that once. I came home real drunk and passed out on my friends waterbed. I remember thinking I was on a boat taking a piss over the side and then I woke up and realized I had just pissed the bed. It was embarrassing but I did not care, just clean it all up and it was all good.

I slept on one for 30 something years and loved it.

I didn't think so.A lady and I caused the frame to come apart on her waterbed.
I don't want a bed to have waves when you lye down.

Not for people who like to turn in their sleep.
Not for people who like to easily get in and out of bed.
Mostly for 70's guys who wanted people to think that they were Hef.

I'll say this, a few girls at that time did comment that they had no idea sex on a waterbed could be that good. Like I said, you got to know what you are doing and work with the motion of the water.

I loved them. I grew up on waterbeds. Had one from when I was four, until I was 21.
Took me a while to get used to mattresses.
I miss waterbeds.
The only thing that did suck was occasional leaks.
