People have been making fun of shrimp boots since long before that.
The older people on this board know that the correct term is Bucktown (if you're from NOLA) Wingtips. Chalmette Wingtips, Delcambre Wingtips, and Fouchon Wingtips are also acceptable as long as you live in a neighboring community that you feel is superior.
