But it kind of is, because the actions of others have an impact on your life.
So, this COVID-19 positive person who apparently gets closer than 6ft from me, then decides to purposely breath their droplets all over me with my mask on. Doesn’t seem likely. Are they also not touching the door handle I touch? Are they also not touching the card reader? Should I also wear gloves?
Yeah, it’s none of my business, because I’m smart enough to know that me wearing a mask and him wearing a mask isn’t going to completely keep me safe from COVID-19 in public. So if he doesn’t want to wear a mask, again, it’s none of my fricking business.
But I know that rubs your inner Authoritarian the wrong way.

You should wash your hands like has been stated since mid March. This really isn't that hard.

I do. Still not proven to keep me 100% safe from COVID-19, next.

quote:Ah, ok, if it's not 100% then it's worthless. Speed limits don't prevent all road deaths, so I don't care how fast you drive. Contraceptives aren't 100%, no sense using them. This logic is bunk.
Still not proven to keep me 100% safe from COVID-19, next.

exactly. most seem onboard to do their part to try to slow the spread. my wife and I are doing our part wearing out masks and sanitizing our hands, but at the end of the day the virus has to pass through the population or we find an effective vaccine.
I am hoping one or the other happens soon. Because I don’t think all these virus restrictions are sustainable. Nor will people put up with it forever. Again, my whole point.
But arresting people, writing fines, filming people for not wearing masks, etc, etc it’s silly and will hardly make a fricking difference. And again, it’s none of my fricking business if someone wears a mask or doesn’t. Sure I could catch it from the maskless guy, but I could catch it from the mask guy too. I think most people, Korkstand withstanding, understand that.

So you don't believe science?
The mask a doctor wears and the mask most people are wearing are not the same.

What a retarded perspective

Doctors aren't touching their face during surgery, they even have someone to wipe the sweat away. Doctors also have an open body in front of them, the natural defense for the body has been cut open Stfu
Now this is retarded. Has absolutely nothing to do with anything. This board has gone full retard.

They still decrease the transmission though. It's not all or nothing.

You shouldn't have needed them to state that in mid March for you to have been washing your hands.
