Yep, his dad was a Shreveport cop and they lived on Canal Blvd. in Sunset Acres. Directly down the street from the "Hot Biscuit", where another infamous Shreveport murder occurred.

Derrick Todd Lee - Serial Killer - Victims in Baton Rouge area and Lafayette, LA

Murder of couple by brothers Elmo and Eddie Sonnier - New Iberia/St. Martinville area. The movie Dead Man Walking is based on this case.
