This is what happens when you have student workers and not supervision... :spank:

Wake up --- It's TV, it ain't real. Even the reality shows aren't reality.
re: Is it safe to attend the Ole Miss game?
Posted by jasonbr1975 on 3/2/26 at 12:25 pm to VooDude
You scared of a bunch of wimpy college kids, mostly frat boys wearing sweaters tied around their necks? Of all colleges, Ole Miss would be the least of which I would be scared to attend. T A&M running close second with the fig patrol yell leaders...

My guess would be that CJJ wants to see again if Cowan can get over that hump. He'll be ready to pull early though.
I believe it's also more interesting the strategy that UL will employ as they play a 3 game away series at Dallas Baptist this weekend.
This is an emotional game by both teams, and a win for UL would be gigantic for their team and bragging rights for sure and an all out melt would occur by the negatigers for sure. If LSU wins, it's just another day at the ballpark and another win against an in state team.
I did watch a few innings of the UL games this season already and they do get on base. I went to both schools but I wear purple and gold all the time!

re: Regarding hitting (Jay',a words)

Let’s hope we get things fine tuned next couple of weeks. The amount of high fly outs and lots of fly outs in foul territory. If we could just get some mid outfield type hits where it drops b/t the infield and outfield, we’d have easily 6-8 more runs these past two games. I get it, we won and I’m happy about that, but conference play will be a lot tougher.

Yes, it was good to see him go long. His change ups have a tendency to get in the dirt though. He’s just gotta keep getting better. Today was a good day for him.

Nice. 6’2” 190lbs and gain about 10lbs, he’s going to be good. I’d love for another OSU guy to be a Saint. Question is, will he be there at 8?

I see the makings of a UCLA upset in the CWS. Somebody gonna spoil their darling season.

We’re supposed to be boycotting all Bower dealerships. There are plenty of other options. BTW, you can get warranty service at any Chevy dealership. It doesn’t have to be the one you bought it from.

re: Property tax
Posted by jasonbr1975 on 2/28/26 at 10:13 pm to Chris89
It’s not really tax on the land, but rather tax on the services that the parish/county or city/municipality provides such as fire protection, police, library, infrastructure, etc. But, aren’t sales tax supposed to cover some of those items?
I hate taxes.

Been having my Recteq for ~6 years. There was some shipping damage and customer service was easy and responsive. Never needed again. There is a rectec forum that I go to at times. If you have questions, they have a lot of people there that have good information.

Maybe, but 2B is not the easiest position to play! That was your original statement.

Playing 3B is likely more prone to errors b/c of the long throw to 1st and getting smoked with a right handed hitter strong pull.

Uhhh. No it's not. Being at 2B requires you to know just about every different situation right when the ball is hit, especially in the infield. 2B is involved in most double play situations in some fashion. 2B is key in getting a runner trying to steal 2nd. I'm not downplaying the outfield at all b/c outfield I think requires a more athletic player while 2B requires a more mental player.
Yeah, Dardar made a few fumbles there last night, but he'll learn from those mistakes. He's played more 3B in his college career.
