I'm not paying you shite, stout. You'll work 20 minutes and frick off on the OT for 40 minutes every hour. It'll never get finished.

Wrong. I will frick off on the OT the entire time and let my workers go do it.

Just paid $6700 for 160 ft. That’s including what the neighbors chipped in. 130 ft was 8 foot. Gate and double gate. Had to get approval to use pine.

It's not just setting posts in concrete. It's digging the hole, squaring it all up, pulling strings to keep the fence in line, making sure they are all plumb, setting them in concrete, then staking them off overnight while the concrete sets.

A post and concrete is $20 in materials right now so it's more like $110.

I, for one, appreciate this level of honesty when I’m paying someone for a job

It's called Repairbase. It's ran by KBB and it's not free. It's also mostly for the property preservation and REO industry but the prices are in line with Xactimate which is what insurance companies use for claims.

I got a quote today 100ft, treated, 6 feet with a side gate for $6100. Granted there's a big water oak on the property line so it may take extra craftsmanship but over $60/ft?

Damn son, I just got a much larger pre fab steel powder coated fence that looks just like wrought iron for less per foot, with three gates too
