Different scales obviously but the first time I worked on one of Shell's TLP platforms I was completely overwhelmed at the engineering. It was at that moment I realized just how much smarter some people were than me.

My son is currently building the world’s largest hydrocracking reactor in the fourth largest refinery in the US. Yay!
