That wasn’t meant to be taken literally, but I can understand the confusion. I’m a Christian. I was raised in church and attended “religiously” until my late 30’s. I’ve taught a couple of different adult Sunday School classes. I was my church’s treasurer for about five years. I haven’t given up my faith, I’ve given up pressing skin with people who are a facade. I won’t go into detail, but I’ve had multiple bad experiences with church folks and what lies beneath.

Discussing the dark underbelly of the church is frowned upon here. It stirs up too much cognitive dissonance in believers.

Yup. Had a drive in service. Honored front line people. Mayor spoke, had fire dept and ambulance there. Gave out gift cards for the brave workers out there
