Where did you get your info?

US News and World report has Metairie as #1.

Bossier City and Shreveport are both ahead of Baton Rouge (really?).

That's an old picture. Try this.

Yep.

As of late 2025, there are three recognized billionaires in Louisiana according to Forbes lists: Todd Graves ($17B-$22B, Raising Cane's), Gayle Benson ($6.6B-$7.9B, Saints/Pelicans), and William Goldring ($6B-$7B, Sazerac Company). These individuals represent the wealthiest residents in the state, often appearing in the Forbes 400 and World’s Billionaires rankings.

Uhh, they don't put up with any Open Society bull*hit. AS my son says, it's a high confidence society. You can walk the streets at 1am and not fear for your life.

This couldn't possibly be a problem.

Natural gas rates have skyrocketed. I'm in a business that uses a lot of it and the rate/unit essentially tripled from last year.

Put it all in growth/tech. SMH ETF is good one. If you had put $10k in it 10 years ago you'd have $180k today.

We lived in the Ft. Lauderdale area in the 80s and there was a power plant that had a hot water outflow. The manatees would gather there for the warm water and we'd feed them cabbage, it was a very cool thing to see.
