They probably don't have a lot of money and/or online banking. Checking balances, transferring between accounts, getting denied, etc. takes time for the machine.

They're probably having a worse day than you. It's 10 minutes.
This is all true

I half-jokingly yelled to the car in front of me once - "it's not a Rubix Cube!"

To which the T-Rex armed obese frick said..."Eh, frick you!"

There’s a lot of people that need to be removed from the gene pool.

Park 5 feet from machine.

Roll down window.

Reach.

Pull arm back.

Put in park.

Open door.

Put one foot out.

Stick head through window.

Reach.

Pull back.

Get out.

Put card in and remove quickly.

Repeat.

Repeat again.

Realize you have to leave the chip card in reader.

Enter pin.

Inquiry.

"How much money can I afford to take out?"

Do math.

Transaction complete.

Remove and reinsert card.

Enter pin.

Withdrawal.

Enter amount.

Take money.

Would you like a receipt?

Yes.

Wait.

Take receipt.

Remove card.

Squeeze back in car.

Put in drive.

Hold brake.

Roll up window.

Count your Jacksons.

Place in purse.

Pick up phone to text Felicia.

Drive away.

It takes time.

Probably get more incensed at the golfers screwing around scoring a triple bogey. Pick up and move on.

This happened to me yesteray, I was pulling $100 out the ATM and my mom called me from Texas and it was an emergency and I answered the phone after hitting withdrawal.

15 seconds later as I reached to pull my cash from tray the ATM sucked my cash back up (in front of me) and printed me a receipt and the screen was left saying I needed to contact my financial institution (the bank I was at) bc I didn't get the cash out in the allotted time.

So I walk into the branch I was at with the receipt and no cash, and since banks use 3rd party ATM partners (imagine that) I won't get the "credit" back (the cash the machine literally sucked up from my hands almost) until 7-10 days after they send in a written dispute form and it's confirmed that the ATM was unbalanced whenever the third party comes to load the machine next time and then sends the discrepancy.

I know I'm a retard but that's:

bullshite.

Stood behind a woman at the casino atm this past weekend who tried for 15 minutes to get money out but was repeatedly rejected for insufficient funds. Like she didn't understand that you need money to withdraw money
