1. Close Southern and Grambling. Let there be blood.

2. Scale back Nichols and SELU to JUCOs

3. Merge ULM with Tech and LSUS w/NWSU

4. Rename the Univ of LA the Univ of Acadiana
5. And move LSU back to Pineville

I mean isn’t their enrollment pretty steady? No point in closing them if so.

Oh sweet we haven't had this topic in at least a month.

Tulane has 13,000 Students
Southeastern has 15,000 Students
Hell Delgado has 19,000 Students

If you close just those 3, the other big schools don't have the facilities to handle those students.

This is the post I always love seeing in these threads

Why is ULL considered so vital? It's an hour from fricking LSU

Why is entire rest of the state outside the NO-BR-LAF corridor to be allowed only one university?

LSUS, SUSLA, LATECH, GRAMBLING, ULM all within a two hour drive.

SUNO has only 2200 undergrads and sits literally right across the road from UNO with 8000 undergrads. Two totally different “systems”.

Grambling and all the Southern U satellites need to go.

Maybe they are so poorly ranked because there are not enough.

Wisconsin has 5.7 million population.

It has 85 colleges and universities.

It's size. That's a heavily populated area.

As you say, we are generally always at the bottom of the list in education and the way to fix that is to allow fewer people access to a college education?

I am not sure I follow your line of reasoning...
