It's where white kids went when they were kicked out of public school when I was young.

I'm sure it may be, but, why don't you move out of your 6% minority district and live there?

you would sure save a lot of money....

I would easily live in McKinney if it was not so far from my priorities in Dallas.

I have friends in McKinney and Frisco and your are delusional if you believe it will be gang infested any time soon.

That activity would not be tolerated and would handled with the quickness.

This. Just f'ing leave if you don't like it here.

See, I've steered away from this lately, because if all of our good people leave, what are we left with?

But if all people want to do is bitch and not at least try to change things, then frick it, get out.

I left twice and ended up back here. I like being near my family and friends that I grew up with. I make good money, live in a nice area. I've traveled around this country a lot and there are many places that I wouldn't live in over LA

You're picking high cost options to try to make your point. Laughably high by at least $1500, and you're ignoring all the time that you're not paying tuition leading up to PK and the time after.

They are much closer to being a wash.

The bottom line is, as I said originally, your schooling isn't free.

Again, just admit it, or don't. I don't care.

Okay pick the schools then. I am just using a high school list off of a database website.

I think its a very fair argument to just talk about the cost apples to apples.

12 full years in each state.

While true by even the data provided by myself, the taxes in the nice suburbs of Dallas will be more. I believe it was 8k in Frisco, while only 4125 in New Orleans.

We are talking about the cost of 1 kid, for 12 years of school. Which is the more cost effective/bang for your buck option.

List some private schools that cost less.

I currently am renting, but looking at property in Frisco. I pay 1400 a month in rent and quite frankly that's throwing money away.

I'm good. You're just going to twist the numbers regardless.

And regardless of even that, you seem hell bent on just not admitting that your schools aren't "free." You can throw out all the insults you'd like now.

Can you at least admit the guy is being completely disingenuous with his numbers?

In TX you will be paying that high arse property tax your entire life to fund them schools. While only benifitting from them for a fraction of those years

Also you have to live in Tx. And fricking north DALLAS SUBURB at that

No I can't because I haven't been reading every single post with fervent attention to detail. Just been enjoying the melt from both sides.
