I work in healthcare and got a rise this week. However, my raise has nothing to do with the current situation. It was my yearly merit increase. I do not get hazard pay nor do I care to since I'm not on the clinical side.
I also do not believe that anyone still working, or hasn't had their pay cut, should receive a stimulus check. What's the point? I'm not in a situation where I need assistance fortunately. The idea of getting some of my tax money back does sound nice though.

Essential here and entire company got a 20% reduction, if not laid off. But that’s generous compared to many. Hazard pay? What’s that?!?

What’s going to be rough for my industry is outside a few of us, many make less than unemployment now. Once business picks up it’s going to be tough to get people staffed back up. Can’t blame someone for not wanting to risk their health to work for less money.
