But let's be honest here. The OP is absolutely letting all of us down by not coming back in here and giving us more detail. It's really tough to make a judgment call without seeing the trees in the forest

It's one of those things that simply isn't done.

Not legitimately, anyway.

That's where you and I differ. I don't care that texts occur and I assume they are platonic and harmless. Unless I am given a reason to believe otherwise. Such catch the guy and my wife in the act.

And all I would ask is disclosure from her if inappropriate discussions do taken place from the other person.

Wish OP would reply to all our solid advice in here though.

Too bad the guy doesn't really post all that often.

OP said that the other guy said "he loves her for what she is doing." Not he loves what she is doing. Big difference.

This is a troll. OP posted, then monitored the thread but never reposted. When it was pointed out that he was online, he bailed and went back to his normal user account.

unless it's work related... A man doesn't text a married woman without the thought of getting in her panties, sorry to break it to you

Just read through, looks like there's no backstory posted.

These threads by FlowMaster may or may not be related to this thread.

02/18/15: 47 and burned out

quote:

Been in banking for 16 years and think about wakking out daily. No kids and wife has a good job. My boss is retiring in 1 year, but you could not pay me enough to take his job. Giving myself one year max to find something else for a 2nd career. Would like a job with the Fed or other type work, but not easy to come by...

LINK ]03/22/15: Did our taxes this am and have to pay $1700

quote:

Paid about $200 to file fed and state for my wife and me (married filing separate returns). Does that sound right?

04/10/14: Ameriprise versus Vanguard

quote:

Just left a job and rolling $245k into a traditional ira. My Ameriprise advisor wants the ira check sent to Ameriprise naturally, but I am leaning towards sending it to Vanguard. Pros, cons, thoughts? Just seems like Vanguard is more solid, reputable....

It may not be a troll but he sure stayed signed in for a long time without tending to his thread that he started.

Many questions were asked and left unanswered. This is classic troll behavior.

So what? Do you know how many people talk to your wife face to face with the same intent also while you are not watching? 1: that doesn't mean that the male will act out on it. We are all horny perverts. Most reasonable men control their urges thank God 2: I would trust my wife to deflect any advances. I can't be there to watch her every step. If I cant trust her on this base assumption how can I trust her about anything?

which is great until she starts exhibiting behaviors that make you uncomfortable. at that moment, her behavior becomes inappropriate and needs to end.
