LSU should be open tomorrow. Roads are thawing out nicely on the northshore this morning. I just got back from a nice drive around town.

Interstate 10 from New Orleans to Lafayette will likely stay closed until sometime Thursday, State Police spokesman Doug Cain said Wednesday afternoon.
“We do not expect the temperatures to get high enough nor the sun to be out long enough to thaw the ice on the I-10,” Cain said.
He said temperatures of 36 degrees and 37 degrees are not warm enough to thaw out I-10, which has been closed since Tuesday.
Some stretches of I-10 are in fair conditions, but the bridges and elevated portions of the interstate are frozen, he said, and it’s going to take a while for them to thaw.
However, Cain said that if the weather changes during the next few hours, portions of the interstate could open.
“Anything is possible,” Cain said. “We are continuing to assess the situation, but I don’t expect much to change.”

Guys. I haven't been able to keep up with this thread today so sorry if this has been asked:
Since all flights to BTR were cancelled, they're sending me to New Orleans and my company is footing the bill for a rental car. Is airline open at least to prarieville? I'm trying to get to denham springs. I'll also need the bridge in port Vincent to be open. Do I have a chance?

Hooper RD. in Central is wide open all the way to the airport. Just made the drive in from Watson.
Only the bridges have any moisture on them but DOTD and EBR Sheriff is sanding them down pretty good and making people cross them really slow.

FYI, accidents on 190 in Livingston due to ice. Traffic is backing up in both directions.
