Downplaying or minimizing what he said, especially in the context of real violence erupting on the streets because of clashes between protesters and agents after the Minneapolis ICE incidents: is either dishonest or intentional obfuscation.
I really wasn’t addressing that at all.
I thought people were jumping his arse because he posted places that ICE was operating.

Walz supported feds enforcing immigration laws in Minnesota back in 2018 as part of his reasoning for becoming a sanctuary state as it’s the fed’s job to enforce immigration laws.

In that area if she had just let herself get arrested for obstruction she would have likely been acquitted due to multiple leftists on the jury whether they acknowledge their bias or not beforehand (they will not get challenged on what they say by DA or by attorney of any protester/obstructionist). If ICE left it up to local prosecutor charges would have likely been dropped.
Seattle acquitted this guy. He is an illegal who the left protects more than citizens, and they likely think they are saving him and others from deportation by not convicting for a felony. I think that only matters for legal aliens. In Seattle they also are likely to not ever convict anyone for a crime against ICE.
Some additional info on the left’s hero, role model, and neighbor from just after his arrest.

Victor Vivanco-Reyes, 25, appeared in US District Court in Seattle and is charged with two counts of assault on a federal officer. He remains in federal custody pending a detention hearing scheduled for June 13, 2025.
According to the criminal complaint, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), working with Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), US Border Patrol, and Customs and Border Protection’s Air and Marine Operations (CBP AMO), had been seeking Vivanco-Reyes due to his undocumented status and prior criminal convictions which include a drive by shooting while having a weapon at a school facility. While serving time in Washington, he engaged in a prison riot.

Now a Dem from Florida -Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL) - is handing out the locations of ICE officers in Florida. He was also giving out the hotel locations of the ICE officers. It also seems wrong that a US representative is helping to obstruct US laws and put federal officers at risk. I would be that he is going to get a different reaction from the Governor than the state rep doing this in Minnesota. Included below are comments from the Lt. Governor of Florida.
