That'd be pretty embarrassing to be seen in... Hope he gets it in black with limo tint and a secret escape hatch so no one can see who the driver is upon exiting/entering.

I would slap my dad if he bought that for me. Hopefully he punishes me for slapping him by not letting me drive. Then it's a win win.

Old 4Runner is what I had. Hence my fear of the cramming everyone in and being the driver

I wouldn't allow any loved ones in something like that. Just imagine what would happen if they were involved in a car accident.

From what he said, his son is pretty pumped about getting one of these things. I don't get it.

Would get them something similar to this

Regardless of my budget when the time comes. If they want a nicer car, they can put the effort in to buy one like I did

This guy obviously hates his son and is trying to kill him/ keep a virgin forever. So if that's the goal then yeah, great idea.

I am realizing a potential downside that then I'd have to worry about some kid driving my kid around with that strategy. It's a tough choice

That's what I plan for my kid's first vehicle. I don't want to be be able to have more than one passenger at a time. I've been leaning towards a single cab small or mid-size truck but the more I think about it he more I'm leaning towards a full sized. I'm thinking something like a single cab, base version, late model F-150.
