I did it, it's been the best choice I've ever made. There are hard days adapting to being a role model. I wasn't ready for it but I was devoted and stubborn enough to muscle through, now I am reaping the rewards of being called dad and feeling pride and love as if they were my own. Ups and downs strikes and gutters like anything else, but my heart is very full these days.

No. I sympathize with her and would be her friend, but on a romantic level I couldn't do it. At no point in your relationship will you be the most important person to her.

I am 48 years old and have been dating a very nice lady for eleven months. She is also 48 and has two teenagers. I appreciate her children just as much as her. I treat the kids with respect and dignity which is more than their dead beat dad is doing.

If you love your girl, then kids are not a problem. If you just want to have sex, then maybe you are in a relationship for selfish reasons.

At my age it's practically impossible to find a,woman with no kids but luckily at my age they are almost out of the house or they just left.

At your age you have a better chance of finding a woman who's vag hasn't been destroyed by a kid just yet.

If it were me she better be real cool to deal with that because it does present a challenge and she has less time to spare.

In my mind she's fighting an uphill battle from the get go. Not saying never no way but there's never no strings attached.

Only if she was interested in getting married and having quite a few more.

We are legally married, no ceremony. The father is still alive he sees them once a month but doesn't pay child support. We keep things positive with him and obviously never expose the kids to the hard truths that he is a deadbeat dad. Still hopeful he will come around...

My last GF had one. I didn't have a problem with it.

I've dated several women with kids. It didn't make a difference.

I really hate to say anything bad about my dad because I legitimately couldn't ask for a better one now. He's the first person I call when I need advice and he's awesome

But it took til I was about 18 for him to be ready for that. So there's hope. Good luck

I did. Raised her youngest one. If I would have been paying attention, I would have realized she was a lying, stealing, cheating bar room whore. But I can't blame the children for that.

You'll end up watching the kid while she goes out with her friends.
