You're just that old guy who is behind the times. Don't let youth trends get to you this bad or you will end up a crotchety old man.

every kid has to wear some fad that looks totally retarded so he can look back when he gets older and laugh at himself
it's part of growing up
Nothing, I mean NOTHING, I wore growing up in the 70s and 80s looks ridiculous now.

My son wears flat bills and high socks! Let kids be kids. Teach him right from wrong and stop being a dick. U sound like a fun guy..

I agree with drawing the line at tucking your ears in the hat. For guys with big arse ears, it looks like u r just trying to hide those big arse ears.

angry much.
For gods sake, it is a hat. I am sure it will change in a few. Flatbill ball hats are fine, I would never wear one, but its what the little ball players wear. Get over it. I am more concerned about important shite, like their goofy necklaces and shite.

this is very true...my kid unfortunately wears a flat bill braves hat and high nike elite socks, gym shorts, and a tshirt most of the time...he plays baseball and football and most of them at his age that play dress like that...do i tell him it looks stupid...of course...but he is a kid so thats all he gets...if he was 20...id punch him in the face....
on a side note yesterday he had a Browning hat on with the curve in the bill...so it kinda depends on his mood and who he is hanging out with i guess...
basically..its ok for 11 year olds...but not grown men...unless they are actually playing baseball...

I don't like flatbills at all and I try as much as I can to discourage the use of it by my son, but the bottom line is that in this day, I have more important issues to worry about in regards to raising my son. He has a few caps and he wears them pretty flat, but so far I have kept them to all MLB/NFL official logos, not the ridiculous graphics you see on the ummmmmm, "urbanites".

is a flat bill the kind of hat or is it call that just because they don't curve the bill?
Posted on 6/18/14 at 10:16 am to Boudreaux35
Flatbills and having a bill curved 180 degrees looks equally stupid. I'd say flat is more practical though, since you can actually wear sunglasses with it.
