fricking sucks the drug head couldn't listen to the officer to avoid all this
If this officer wouldn't have taken him out his lifestyle would kill him soon enough

I love how cops always keep yelling commands after they've already popped a cap.

Just in case anybody was wondering, officers are now 100% justified in shooting you if they fear that you could potentially pose a deadly threat to them.
Doesn't matter if they ever see a gun.
Read the article. Cops are licensed to kill. Is there any other way to see this?

The video of that incident that will never be as popular:
I won't pass judgment because it looks like a confusing scene that could have gone either way. But that twitchy pussy cop crying doesn't really do anything to bolster his case. Maybe he shouldn't have shot the junkie if he couldn't emotionally handle taking a human life.
What kind of training do you people receive anyway? These videos always seem to show cops who are either jumpy and overly frightened or on some kind of power trip. Was the meth tweeker even armed (i.e. was there even a gun in the car)? I couldn't tell from the video.

Yeah I feel bad for the cop that he was trained to kill anyone who didn't do what he said and might maybe pose a threat.
The crying is a normal reaction to that load of adrenaline that just dumped into his system. Doesn't move the needle for me. Hed have to be a psycho to have no reaction to killing a dude like that.

I propose a big toast to this officer tonight.

Shouldn't you post all the info before determining if it was justified?
1) man was wanted for shooting a person during a robbery of methamphetamines.
2) man had been stopped early and had fled on foot and escaped capture.
3) Upon making contact with occupants, the officer recognized the wanted man.
4) Man refused to show officer his hands. (Reasonable to believe a man wanted for shooting someone would have a gun.)
5) Upon backup arriving the officer was noticeably distraught.

So he can just shoot anybody who he reasonably expects might have a gun and who might be guilty of a previous crime? That sound like the American justice system to you?
Presuming guilt from a previous crime and using that presumed guilt to kill him when he doesn't do exactly what you want him to do with his hands?
Just for the record, our soldiers in combat have stricter rules of engagement than that. They cant shoot until they see a gun.

You have to look at the whole picture though not just individual facts.
The fact that the guy was wanted for shooting someone makes it reasonable to believe he had a gun.
What was the officer's statement and justification to shooting him......we don't know.
We have only a small portion of the info....yet some already pass judgement on whether or not it was justified.
I'm just pointing out that the video does not give the full picture.
