The one I watched last night was on CBS titled The Case Of: JonBenet Ramsey’. It aired for approximately 1 1/2 hours last night and has a 2 hour 2nd part tonight.

The Burke stuff is bizarre.
Him saying "ready to get on with life" 13 days after his sister got killed?
Literally shows no sadness whatsoever. WTF.

OK, now I see where youre drawing your conclusions from, the Carnes report
Carnes is a Ga based judge (remember John was from Ga) who 7 years after the fact, having never been on the scene or interviewed any witnesses. Issued a summary judgment (meaning there was no full trial) spouting the things you are relying on as gospel.
Heres a few of her gems as proof of an outside intruder:
quote:
At least seven windows and a door in the Ramsey home were found open or unlocked after JonBenét disappeared. The alarm was off and windows were accessible from the ground level, including three that opened into the basement.
Of course the alarm was off. John had to go outside to lift the grate, smash and open the window
quote:
JonBenét's body was bound with complicated rope slipknots and a garrote that the order described as "sophisticated bondage devices" by someone "with an expertise in bondage." No evidence suggests the Ramseys knew how to tie such knots.
Comical. John was a sailor and civil engineer. Burke was in the scouts
quote:
• Black duct tape found on JonBenét's mouth was never found in the Ramsey home
So we are to believe that the tape was the only thing the kidnapper brought. Everything else he use was in the home.
quote:
• Nothing in the Ramsey home matched dark animal hairs found on the duct tape and JonBenét's hands.
Of course the judge didn't interview anyone to see if there was any animals at the Christmas party
quote:
• A palm print on the wine-cellar door where JonBenét's body was found does not match the Ramseys' palm prints and has never been identified.
As if that door had ever been cleaned since installation. And conveniently that print has still not been identified
quote:
• A baseball bat found outside the house with fibers consistent with fibers found on the carpet in the basement where JonBenét's body was found did not belong to the Ramseys.
Sure it didn't. This careful, stealthy killer just dropped his bat and said, Oh Well. And of course a 9 year ole wouldn't have been playing with that bat and then just left it there. Nah, not possible
quote:
• Injuries found on the child's body are consistent with the use of a stun gun, according to a forensic pathologist. The Ramseys swore they had never owned or operated a stun gun and none was found in their home. Carnes cited testimony by A. Louis "Lou" Smit, a homicide detective originally hired by the Boulder Police Department to investigate JonBenét's death but who later began working for the Ramseys. Smith has said he believes JonBenét was subdued by a stun gun.
And this has to be the most bizarre conclusion drawn. What generic, jealous, pageant goer would have a stun gun in 1996. Most police departments didn't get them 1994

So I don't see that as narrowing the pool to only the parents. I see it broadening the pool to anyone affiliated with the dad professionally or personally or by chance who knew how much his bonus was including a bank teller than processed the deposit or any million other people along the way.
The problem with this theory is why $118,000? That a very low weird number to consider these people are millionaires. Why ask for only $118,000. It's ridiculous!

I don't think that this particular hypothetical pageant goer could be described as generic. A pageant goer/pedophile pre-meditating a murder or moleststion might have a stun gun. Why did the Ramsey's have one and where did it go?
The stun gun and the DNA were the two pieces of evidence that made me think maybe the Ramsey's didn't do it. I mentioned this in an earlier post.
While it probably was one of the Ramsey's I really really wish that it was a stranger.
Going to watch that CBS documentary. This whole thing has piqued my interest - albeit 20 years after the crime...

Could she not have slept in her underwear and put the same clothes on the next morning before police came over?

Then at what point did the intruder and JonBenet willingly sit down, hang out, and have pineapple together?

Haven't watched any shows about the investigation and was too young to follow the case when it happened.
I have one question. Was Patsy Ramsey really wearing the same clothes the next morning? That is suspicious as hell.
First, let's address the timing of the 911 call. Between 5:30 and 6:00 am correct? Now let's consider this is the day after Christmas.
Patsy Ramsey has 2 children under the age of 10 who live in a rich family sure to get a lot of Christmas presents from Santa. Does anyone remember how early you used to get up on Christmas morning as a kid and how tired your parents were from getting everything set up from the night before?
After Christmas morning, let's say the Ramseys do whatever Christmas traditions they normally do. Big lunch, church maybe, extended family, set up and play with toys, video games , whatever it was. My parents were dead by nightime and would never go to a party. But the Ramseys attended a party that night surely draining whatever energy they had left.
Now that brings us to 4 possible solutions for why Patsy never changed clothes.
1)She was so exhausted she never changed clothes.
2)She usually sleeps in whatever clothes she wears that day.
3)She put back on her clothes from the previous day when she awoke
4)She never went to bed
So option 1, she was exhausted. If this woman was so exhausted from Christmas to not take off her party clothes, how is she waking up before 5:30 am the day after Christmas. I couldn't wake my parents up with a lead pipe the day after Christmas, and they sure weren't living it up at an affluent party the night before.
Option 2,she regularly wears her party clothes to sleep. Who in here knows a woman that wears her normal clothes to sleep? I have never once seen a woman do this who wasn't passed out drunk and I grew up with 3 sisters. Women always wear pajamas, always. Especially rich superficial pageant women.
Option 3, she put back on her party clothes the next day. Um bullshite obviously.
Option 4, she never went to bed. I'm leaning toward this one.
Now I guess one could argue that the Ramseys are different that every other parent that has 2 kids under age 10, and that Christmas day isn't really draining to them
Such a small detail, but the timing of that 911 call bugs me.

Unless she went downstairs in her underwear after she woke up, this doesn't make sense. I'm assuming she doesn't walk around the house in her underwear, especially on Christmas morning. Especially in front of her kids.

Who the frick names their daughter JonBenet?

There was a part last night where they said she once dyed JonBenet's hair bleach blonde and than when asked about it, said it did that from the sun. Just goes to show she's a compulsive liar.

The brother killed her because he was jealous (allegedly).
The parents covered it up (allegedly).

I think the $118,000 ransom is critical. That means that whoever killed her knew that John Ramsey earned a bonus that year worth $118,000.
Who would know such information? I would assume very few people. Him and his wife, obviously. Possibly one or two people he works with. The housekeeper may have overheard him mention it. And some of their close friends *may* know.
We're talking only a small handful of people possibly knew how much his bonus was that specific year.
That's what leads me to believe it was not just some random creepy pedophile who saw JonBenet at pageants and sneaked into their house to molest and kill the Ramsey's daughter. If it was an outside intruder, it would have to be someone who is educated who is close to the family.

This is what I've thought since the thing happened in the late 90's.
Another weird thing that I got from the show last night: the dad went on a business trip out of town the very next week after the body was found. When my sister died unexpectedly, me and especially my parents were closed off to the outside world for at least two to three weeks. Would NEVER think twice about going on a business trip the next week.

I believe the important point about Patsy wearing the same clothes from the night before is if she was involved in JB murder while she was wearing those clothes and then was still wearing those clothes the next day when her body was found then she contaminated any incriminating evidence that may have been on her clothing. Remember when John carried her body in Patsy held JB in her arms which isn't an unusual reaction but could be construed as tainting evidence in this case. OJ case was not long before this so people knew about DNA.
Some people are getting confused about the day this took place. Her tombstone has she died Dec 25 but she didn't die Xmas morning. If anything she died Xmas night which was the last time she was seen alive. Her body was discovered and pronounced dead well into the 26th.

And they were all accounted for as being at their own homes for Christmas, and therefore were never suspects
So that leaves some random dude with way too much personal knowledge, or someone inside that house that night
