The fact that neighbors are saying the family put pressure on them not to talk to media or police, and then denied outside pathologists access to the home says all you need to know about whether the Ramseys wanted this death solved

I listened to this True Murder episode where this guy claimed it was Edward Wayne Edwards, who he also says is the zodiac killer LINK

Holeeee Crap. They just had a 10 year old demonstrate how hitting a skull, with the flashlight found in the Ramsey home, created strikingly similar results to autopsy drawings

Parents were NOT cooperative. Would not let outside investigators access to the body. Did not sit down for interviews with PD until 4 months after the death
But was on every TV station possible saying there was a killer on the loose. They were just in no hurry to help the police find that killer

To anyone who thinks the family wasn't involved and that an intruder killed her, explain why the killer left the body there? The pineapple? A two and a half page ransom note? Not talking with the police for four months?

CBS investigators made a point of ripping apart the ransom note:
Too long, very unusual for kidnapping by outsiders
Too detailed, the part of the kidnapper saying I dislike you indicates a female writer
Multiple threats of death or beheading, was way overdone knowing the child was already dead
Writing a draft first, adding dangerous amount of time to be discovered
Intentional misspellings, compared to flawless spellings of more difficult terms (for foreigners)
English was writers first language, despite the opening paragraph detailing the kidnappers as foreigners
Placement of letter on stairs, very unusual unless someone knew how often those stairs were accessed by the parents
Too personal, details could only come from close friends/family who all were accounted for the night of the murders

It was obviously one or more of the other family members.
I could understand if one or two odd, isolated things happened. But when you look at it on the whole, there are way too many odd things for it to be anything other than the family.
For instance, approximately 30 minutes after the dad discovers his daughter's dead body, he is on the phone telling his pilot to get his private airplane ready that he's gotta "get outta here".
Who on Earth would be looking to leave the state not a half hour after you discovered your daughter was murdered?

The more I look at this note. The more it just screams a female wrote it.
