You need to bring bigberg with you so he can start snapping necks and breaking backs.

We need your wife to video the confrontation and if things go south you need to have your son prepared to yell "world star" over and over.

Both of my examples took place in Jefferson Parish (suburb of N. O., LA) during the mid/late 90s. I'm sure it's tightened up here since then, just like everywhere else.
I have young nephews (6-13) playing ball in NY and CA. Not only am I not allowed to yell at all (even encouragement) during the games, but my sister in NY doesn't even want me to discuss the game with the kids afterward, lest I traumatize one of her babies with some constructive criticism. But my feeling is that my nephews who like sports, are going to like sports. They'll probably be fine without their ancient uncle trying to coach them up on his ocassional visits.

Sounds like he might be on final notice for his antics, especially if it's been going on for as long as you say.
He might be hoping he can talk you into dropping the whole thing so he can save his job.

Called and scheduled a face to face meeting after my kid's game tomorrow.
This sounds so strange from my POV. You email the guy, the guy asks for you to call him at a certain time only to then setup an in person meeting later?
He's going to "forget about the meeting" tomorrow...book it.
Who replies to an email to ask for a phone call to schedule a meeting and not talk about anything on the phone call?

So he can save his job as a volunteer coach for a t-ball team?

This thread is a fricking train wreck.

So the OP is going to meet with a t-ball coach of a team other than than the one his 5 year old plays on to discuss things that the coach may or may not have said to some other kid and his mother?
Also the OP wasn't there to witness any of this, it's all second hand information from his wife.
This is hilarious. If I were the other coach if tell you you gfy.
Let the field Marshall's, umpires and league commissioner handle it.

Yep. If he didn't care he would have deleted the first email.

Was he polite during the phone call?
He was polite but short. He kind of mumbled a bit, but he said that he liked to talk face to face rather than over the phone or email, to which I agreed.

It's goddamned t-ball. If it were a more important sport, I would agree with you.
Anyway, I'm meeting the guy tomorrow after my son's game and before his team's game. I plan to ask why he behaves the way he does in front of kids and why hasn't anyone from the league talked to him about it. I'm pretty sure he won't Debo me, but if he does, I'll have pics.

And I'd be careful how you word that other part. Asking a grown man about how he "behaves" may not be the best approach.
