1) Save Franz Ferdinand from assassins
2) keep a lookout for any future attempts
3) stage a faux assassination attempt on him if he still hasn’t bulked up security
Franz Ferdinand was a massive proponent of peace and reconciliation in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and was for the same thing for all of Europe. With him on the throne, he would have prevented WWI which also would prevent WWII. The world powers would have focused on anti-communism. Hitler would never be a thing. Bolsheviks would have been crushed. Woodrow Wilson wouldn’t be able to send our boys Over There. And society would be much different than it is today
