A friend of mine from high school joined the Marine Corp and got serious about bodybuilding. By the time he got out he signed a deal with MuscleTech to be a model for them for Mens Fitness magazine,Maxim and shite like that. He eventually switched to MusclePharm and did some stuff for GNC. He gets flown around first class to the MetRX strongman competetion, firefighter and lumberjack competitions, the Olympics, IBF events, the NFL Combine, Iron Man Triathalon. Pretty much anything that has to do with sports, strength and athletes he is there wearing a MusclePharm shirt just chillin and posin. 
Makes 65 grand, but gets a free gas card, company vehicle, free Costco membership, 800 dollar a month food card allowance, free supplements, and all kinds of little perks like that.

Got a friend I went to high school with that just graduated with his journalism/sports broadcasting degree.
He does play by play and all the columns for a AA baseball team, and just working his way up the ladder.
I don't know if I'd trade, but sounds like a pretty cool gig.

I've got a buddy that gets to travel the country taking his clients to sporting events, exotic vacations, and even gets to expense full body massages at Oriental spas at his destinations. He makes over 500k a year and still a dickhead, nonetheless.

A guy I played high school tennis with now owns his own company that makes video for companies' websites. He basically travels around and plays with cameras, but I certainly wouldn't call him a friend.
One of my actual friends works in a materials testing lab for a civil engineering firm. Essentially, he gets paid to blow up/smash up samples of concrete or asphalt, or to try and dissolve them using chemicals.

I have a good friend who is a Senior Director at Deloitte & Touche. Would never guess it if you didn't know. He lives a huge farm down below Carrollton, Ga at least 50 miles out of Atlanta. Drives a truck around here when not working. His promotion requires him to be in Nashville 2 weeks of the month so he recently bought a condo in town up there. Yale educated guy who grew up here. He really does not fit my image of a guy who would have that position.
