Airport Lounge (old one)

The lounge in the old terminal at MLU was an awesome dive bar inside an airport.

Anyone recall a bar called Captain's Quarters? I had some friends who lived out in the Prairieville/Gonzales area and we'd go to this really dark bar/resto. I don't remember much else about it except that they had a drink called a Woulda Coulda Shoulda.

Yeah, out on Hwy. 30 in the front of the shopping center that had Rousell’s and the Sure Fresh grocery store. It was its own building where Albasha’s is now.

Captain’s Quarters was half lounge half restaurant if I remember. It became Wuffy’s then the building was a Mexican restaurant.

They had a giant painted map of all the plantations and plants on the Mississippi in south Louisiana and the map is now hanging in Philay’s restaurant on Airline.

Cash's was in Ft Walton Baw...

Night Town was in Destin...

I must say, the talent in both those places in the 80's was to die for..

If you knew Jack, Tommy, Paul, Craig, and Judy then we probably know each other.

I was there 4-5 times a week from about 1992-when it closed. I used to check check ID’s at the door circa 1997

Have you been to FW lately, all those places are gone now. The Blue Horizon, the Carousel, The Conquistador, and the Driftwood... and all those other shitty hotels. They were all replaced with nice condos..

Cash’s is now a strip club called The Red Rose, but it still looks the same from the outside..

Suck it like a Montrose Monster Meat.
The Bone was a fun place. Rooftop was all cosmopolitan and shite but downstairs was great for sports or a live band.
I watched the 2000 Indy Bowl there. Was nuts to see it snowing like this in Shreveport. Dallas was covered as well.
