One Thanksgiving about 6-7 yrs ago my SIL asked what the frick I was talking about in a thread about suckin dicks and stuff.
My whole family was there. I said "So what. I'm a retard on the OT." and that was that.
I'm really the only trashy one left. Everyone else in the family is civilized.

HUD Rural Development loans are used to sell a lot of the new houses out there.
Those require $0 down payment and the cost of the program and various closing costs are rolled into the mortgage.
That sells the house for DSLD, Horton, etc, but raises the chances of a default down the road if anything fricky happened with the finances.

Whole lotta stupid in the Zachary school district right about now.
Lotta fights on HS and MS campuses, phones are explicitly banned at the middle school because of fights / Tik Tok challenges.
Things are declining but the district is at least attempting to do the right thing. They haven’t thrown up their hands and quit like Baker and EBRPSS, likely because they know they get nice funding only because people expect results from those schools.
Schools start to go to shite, those taxes will get repealed ASAP.

I have hopes for him.
Him being the retiring police chief means he is well versed on a lot of the issues in towns and he has ripped the 19th JDC to shreds before over catch-and-release that resulted in the deaths of at least one of his officers.

I did some student teaching in the Zachary school system about 12 years ago and it was pretty nice.
Hopefully that one video isn't indicative of it as a whole, but nowadays who knows

Zachary is still a decent place with good schools but it seems like it is about to drive off a demographic cliff, like Baker did.

I went to ZHS in the late 90's during the "Bussing" years.
We were part of EBR schools. Funnily enough, we had overall Better test scores than they do now.
My senior year, I was 'Office-aide' second period, because they needed to put me in something, and I didn't need anymore credits.
One day, two black girls were brought in for fighting and sat at both ends of the chairs lining the walls, to wait for the Disciplinarian Principal.
The secretary asked what the problem was, why they were fighting.
One girl responded: Because she being a ratchet bitch.
Soon as she said it, the other girl jumped up and ran across the room and started beating the shite out of her.
The secretary started yelling, and told me to break them up.
Me: "frick that. I ain't getting between that shite."

This started a couple of years before Covid, so around 2017 ish is when I started noticing it. I asked a teacher at my son's school why are we seeing all these kids wearing sweaters and hoodies in 100 degree weather. She said for many it's s form of comfort therapy similar to a toddler's blanket...I shite u not.
