I'll take this oil spill over a Cat 5 hurricane any day.

Just saying.

This won't come close to the environmental impact that Katrina and Rita had.

I don't see how you can possibly even try to argue that an oil spill that might kill marsh vegetation and wildlife is worse than a hurricane that eradicates marshes and wildlife covers giant areas of land with saltwater, causing it to be barren for years to come, then sucks that water, now contaminated with oil, animal carcasses and other debris back out to sea.

I think both are terrible, but one is pretty clearly worse.
