BP knows it's going to be a long time

before anything is done to stop the leak...much less start the clean-up.
BP has ordered that all companies reduce their staff to a skeleton crew on the weekends; they will not pay overtime.
I've worked in the oil industry for a long time; I never knew that an oil leak stops after 5:00pm on Friday and starts again 7:00am on Monday.
I guess you learn something new everyday!

I'm sure he overgeneralized like hell and projected his limited knowledge to the situation as a whole.
