The revolution must start in the voting booth this November.
No doubt!

Unfortunately, the revolution won't begin then either. We'll swap one set of power-hungry idiots with another set of power-hungry idiots.
The real revolution won't begin until the middle class, working folks turn off MSNBC/Fox/whatever other biased media outlet they prefer to blindly follow, open up their eyes and see what's really going on.
The revolution will not be televised!

This!
That is why I am not saying Obama did anything worse than Bush. Both parties are bumbling idiots who care about stuffing their pockets and looking out for their special interest groups.
The stopping of deepwater drilling is an exception though. That is just stupid.

This is on par with the libs that said Bush was slow to Katrina b/c he doesn't care about black people.
I really do hate when they bring this point up. About 99% of people don't realize that the Fed couldn't respond as fast as people wanted do to the policies it has on natural disasters. The government can't come into a state/city just out of nowhere and take over no matter what the situation. (please read the constitution if you don't agree)
the one reason the Fed was slow or the Bush Admin was slow to react is b/c New Orleans nor Louisiana for that matter ever told the gov't they needed assistance.
where was Ray Nagin? Oh penthouse in Atlanta
where was Blanco? hell, I think there are still looking.
YOU CANT BLAME BUSH FOR THAT. the city/state should have had an emergency plan of action!!

Yes, you can blame Bush, Nagin, Blanco, dumb people that didn't leave and could have. Plenty of people to blame. What is the point?
Nagin was not in Atlanta. At least not for a while. He was in the Hyatt for a while and that is where I think he lost his marbles. Dude turned into a retard around that time.
He also climbed on Airforce One to meet with Bush at MSY about a week or so after the storm and wouldn't get out of the presidential shower. People were beating on the door and they were threatening to haul his arse out if he didn't get out soon.

They did and it was a joke like most things in the state. Guess what, it didn't work. Doesn't excuse why things could not have gotten moving sooner. I am sure people sitting in Memorial hospital and other hospital and nursing homes all over the flooded area did not give a shite about who could order in a military group to assist with things. It could have been done. Fck those who were pretending to play their political games.
Micheal Brown was getting dressed for dinner at Ruths Chris in BR, so he couldn't be bothered one night when some pressing matters came up that someone was questioning him on. He and his cronies pretended not to know there were people at the convention center, even though CNN/Fox had been showing coverage of the crowd building all day.
Again, you can't pin anyone group or person down for this, but I know that the feds are a cluster fck no matter who is in charge. I have no doubt Obama would have handled things as bad or worse. Nagin and Blanco would have still be the tards they were no matter who was president.

Bush had his faults and his 2nd term was a disaster but at least his agenda wasn't a threat to the very fundamentals and beliefs that this country was founded on. If this guy continues we'll have a socialist state before he leaves office. Get in your history books, talk to the old Cubans that you might know. This parallels how Cuba became a Marxist state under Castro. If this nut and his Pelosi led administration continue we've got some serious problems ahead.

Nagin
Here is one version of the story about Nagin on Air Force One. Kind of sketch source, but this whole episod was written about in several different articles, but this is the first one that popped up on google for me.
As a funny, Ray Ray has started a new business as a consulted for governments on disaster/crises mgmt and urban planning stuff. Not kidding either. I am sure Obama or the NAACP will somehow get him some work.
