I know they are cheating, but I like the ease of use. Figured there would be clearance or BF deals

I had the 30" version of this one for 6 or 7 years, it was still working when I put it on the curb. Currently $100 off.
Masterbuilt MES 40
My big gripe with the 30" is you couldn't fit a whole brisket in it. I ended up going with a vertical pellet smoker to replace the 30. Can't beat the electric for ease of use. Get a pellet tube so you don't have to feed chips to it every hour.

Electric is great but I would go for propane if I were you
The electric components are finicky and will short out way more than you'd like. I am dealing with this now trying to smoke a wild ham for thursday.
Had to fire up the offset

This. My Masterbuilt electric was always inconsistent on holding temp even after I sealed it up and replaced the element. My current smoker is a propane Camp Chef Smoke Vault. After sealing it up it holds temp well. If you go that route, I also recommend using a spare grate wrapped in heavy duty aluminum foil between the water pan and your food. It give an additional direct heat buffer.
If you look around you can usually find them 50% off.
