I went to pick up my Sako S20 from Cabelas the other day. The stock and the area around the trigger guard felt like pure garbage. To me it seemed if I dropped it on the ground the damn thing would crack. I couldn't fork out $1600 for something that felt that crappy!!

Like this idea even for a 7mm-08.

T3 Forest 22-250 here, 3/4" MOA with Nosler varmageddons, 1/2" MOA with Sierra varmints reloads. Love that rifle. The trigger out of the box is smooth and crisp, no adjustment required.

You did not ask for this and I am not trying to start a caliber debate. I would seriously consider this in a .308 instead of 7-08. The availability of ammo should be considered if they are to start using it any time soon. Ammoseek has nothing showing for 7-08 and has not for a long time.

Mine (.243) can do 3/4-1 MOA with Federal Fusion. I've thought about hand loading just out of sheer curiosity to see what it can do with a custom load. With the barrel profile it will open up if I don't let it cool between groups, but it's not designed for that. For a hunting rifle it's hard to beat.

I have the Tikka 3-Lite in .300 WSM. I love the gun. The only complaints are that the kick gets old when shooting it on a bench and my bullets or my magazine tend to rattle a little when walking in.

I have the Tikka 3-Lite in .270 WSM. Put a limbsaver recoil pad on it to deal with the kick. I have no complaints!
