We have 2 golden doodles. Great dogs, great temperments. Great with kids, love being outside, and just all around happy dogs. They do have some energy that needs to be worked off.

I would echo getting two, because they tend to occupy each other. Otherwise, you are the entertainment.

If you want to keep a longer coat on them, they need to be brushed pretty frequently. Wife takes care of that.

Highly reccommend.
