In case anyone was wondering, Apocalypse in ponchatoula is set to open their indoor range on 9/14.
Their membership packages are listed on their website.
Glad to see all the new ranges popping up recently.

Meh, I'll stick to shooting in the field behind my house.
It's convenient and it lets the neighbors know to stay on their side of the fence

I pass by the one on 12/millerville 2x a day and never see anyone in the parking lot. These indoor ranges are really expensive construction…
glad to have them but I don’t understand the business plan. To me ranges are like gyms, most people sign up, never go then don’t renew. As an investor you’d be better off building storage units or office/warehouse
anyway I hope it does well

We checked that place out the other day. Big selection, but the main sales guy was a total a-hole. I don't know what it is about some gun guys but their egos are absurd. Wouldn't go back there unless I absolutely needed something that only they sold.

I've always had good interactions with the guys at Interstate. Ronnie at American Hunter in Covington is also an awesome dude. He just doesn't have the selection that some of these firearm-specific shops have.
