Get a cheaper lower and spend some extra coin on the complete upper

Thanks for all the advice everyone. I went to store after work today and purchased the Smith & Wesson. Also picked up a mag, two boxes of ammo (that is all they allowed), and Sig SauerO5.

Things I forget to purchase or need to purchase. Since I have two young children I need to buy a case to keep it in. Also forgot to pick up a sling and of course I need more ammo.

Expensive AR-15's are stoopid. Spend the savings on an optic and ammo.

I have the same setup - M&P Sport II with Romeo5 red dot. You won't be disappointed.
