Give me swim baits all day.
Down South, lil Jon, sand eel, matrix shad

I get so damn bored sitting there with spinning reel and a popping cork.

I had L shoulder surgery in May, so for now, spinning is way more comfortable. I can use baitcasting equipment some, but I really need to limit it.

Hey, don’t mess around with that. I had the same surgery a few summers ago and pushed to go back to normal faster than I should have.

Stick to a popping cork and give them hell

You pulling the black anchor to coco? Good luck sir, we had them in a frenzy hitting whatever you would toss a few weeks ago at a rig south of Timbalier Island until the dolphins showed up and ruined the afternoon. All fatties too

Mirrodine 3XL stacked them up yesterday in GI. L shrimp under a cork right now best bet. Fish were so high in water column you couldn’t reel a swim bait fast and high enough to get bit. But never discount a suspending hard bait in clear water .

The greatest shrimp bait know to man is the Berkeley rattle shrimp. Coastal candy and shrimp Creole in that order. I've fished vudu on many occasions and they do not come close to these baits.
