I have been wanting to make the bourbon trail in Kentucky, a long weekend with a DD or rented bus to visit the distilleries...

I have done the tour and recommend it. You can hit several distilleries in a day. Base yourself in Louisville and enjoy the nightlife of the city afterwards.

OB trivia: What OB poster once took a self guided tour of Makers Mark and then drove his 4x4 Explorer in the creek beside the distillery? Answer: weagle99

I got a bottle of Purple & Gold Makers from the 2007 National Championship Season and a Black & Gold Makers from 2009 Superbowl Season...

They'll never be opened!

I heard this on the radio today...if they want to reduce the demand, that is a good way to do it...makers has been my go-to whiskey since I first tried it in Kentucky in 1995...

the first time I see the watered down shite on the shelf, I will begin my quest for a new favorite...
