Stalking a small 8point in the marsh and killing him with my bow. And in the same hunt avoided getten bitten by over 20 cotton mouths while looking for him in the marsh grass.

Hunting with 4 friends and killing our limit of ducks then stopping on the way back to catch speckle trout and catching 100 trout in about 45 minutes. We could have caught double that. They were every where.

Killing 38 geese, 12 ducks with me and my hunting buddy in the morning and then killing a 7point that same evening.

Killing 5 hogs stillhunting in one day with my rifle.

Two summers ago I went on an offshore trip with my dad, brother and good friend. We ended up catching a mess of tuna and I fought and landed a 600lb+ blue marlin on a tuna rig. I say landed, the deck hand put his hand on the leader right when he spit the hook. Captain said that counts.

That same trip we saw what we thought was a log floating near a rip, and then the log shot out a jet of water. Turned out to be a sperm whale and it rolled over on its side to look at us as we circled it. You could see the circular scars on its head from diving and eating squid.

Was the trip of a life time and I was glad to share it with my dad and brother.

1. Holding my kids in my lap while they were shooting deer. Hearing them breathe, and watching their cap bounce on their head..
2. Went through a few draw hunts in Tensas Refuge, and still alive..

Also remember a trip in November when we were fishing redfish in some ponds back of Myrtle Grove. We had a couple reds in the both in the first 10 minutes and we looked over our shoulder to see the water boiling with fish.

Told my bud man, look at those redfish boiling those minnows in that canal. We went over there and it was specks! we limited out by 7:45, caught our last 8 redfish in another 30-35 minutes.

Bitch about the whole trip was the speckled trout wouldn't leave us alone.....they were on fire that day. Caught some on bare hooks.

When the Bohemia Wildlife Refuge was open down in Pointe-a-La-Hache I went deer hunting with a group. Never was so scared in my life. I was elected as one of the dogs and was walking the prairie to jump up some deer.

After the second .243 round whizzed by I said frick it I'm out.

Never have hunted anywhere but my own property since.

Training my first duck dog, a black lab named Angus. In many ways, he taught me more than I ever taught him.

My hunting grounds.

My best would have to be the six man perfect limit.24 mallards drakes and 12 wood duck drakes. At least that is a perfect limit in my eyes.

I've killed the Royal Slam of Wild Turkeys, including the Eastern, Osceola, Merriam, Rio Grande, and Goulds subspecies.

My best animal with a rifle is a 140 inch whitetail. My best with archery was a 300 class bull elk.

For fishing, its tough to beat the bass fishing central Florida. I've landed dozens of bass over 8 lbs and my best is over 11 lbs..
