Best value is a sheaffer bay boat well over 100k, expensive but a great value.

I own a Sportsman Tournament 214. Love it. Finish, ride, layout, access.....all of it. The few complaints I would have are minor and not worth mentioning. I agree that the layout on the Masters series is a little odd. I would definitely give them consideration.

I have a pathfinder 22 with a 150 yamaha. Love the boat. Very shallow draft. Runs 43mphin the corner. Great rig for the money. Had 200hrs on it when i got it and i havent put 100 on it yet. Thinkin about selling for lack of use.

I had a 20 ft w a 150 and it did ok but always desired that bit more power. I mean it gets job done. But I'm just floored at how many boats in 21-22 ft range and I'd say 75% have a 150 on them

Our 21 has a 200 on it. I couldn't imagine having the stock 150 on it

What u have again?

When dealers have boats in stock, can they swap motors out for upgrade or it has to come from manufacturer w it?

Same here. The 150 wasn't a consideration for me. Hell with 4 guys full on gas, beer and sometimes fish I wish I had a little more holeshot.
I still get 4-5mpg with any load. I like to cruise at 40-45 so a 200 was needed.

The dealer I used swapped the 150 to a 200 for me no questions asked.

Is that maybe a 5-7k upgrade you think?

I never priced one with the 150 so I can't say for sure but i would say that's a good estimate.

some dealer just let me know that a 200 hp is only a 2k upcharge... who the hell doesn't upgrade that on a 40k boat already?

2015 Nautic Star 214xts.

200 yammy was option from factory/dealer, but I don't remember the price difference between the 150 and 200. I don't think it was that much more. Upgraded steering package I believe and bigger motor

A 150 came on my nautic star but I wanted to cruise at 40-45 so I upgraded to the 200 which was like 2k more I think and no issue for them to replace. Now to go to the 250 was another 7k so I got the 200. Looking back, I wish I would’ve got the 250 so I could cruise still at 40-45 but with less rpms

I don't think a 250 was an option on our 214xts. I don't think hull/transom is rated for it
