Best way to store tires

Buddy of mine bought a brand new truck and immediately took it to get all terrains put on. He gave me the tires that came on the truck. I have a bit of life left in the tires on my truck now. I planned to put them on a pallet in my shed (not climate controlled)
My dad mentioned putting armor all on them. Not sure if necessary though.
I’m guessing they’ll be in there for another 6 months to a year

On a pallet out of direct sunlight should be fine
They're tires not milk, they don't sit in climate controlled warehouses or in an oil tank before they go on a vehicle for a few years. I understand they can dry rot, but I'm pretty sure that's from UV rays.

They’ll be fine in a shed with a tarp over them for that length of time

Out of sun, off the ground, preferably on concrete or somewhere that stays relatively dry and you should be fine for over a year.
