I’ve never done it, but watched a video a while back by a logger in the NorthWest who used melted beeswax around the bottom seals. I found one with a 1 year review copied from Reddit below.

SnoSeal is, basically, beeswax, I believe.

I just SnoSealed my Blundstones. I've always used it on any of my outdoor boots. For my "dressier" boots like my RedWing Iron Rangers, I usually just use mink oil for conditioning and protection.

One thing I know: if you're wearing boots every day, it will exponentially increase the life of your boots if you purchase 2 pair (I know.. I know.. a lot of cost for good boots) and rotate them.

Your feet sweat and moisture gets into the insole and midsole. If they don't get to dry out completely and you continue to wear them, then your midsole breaks down much quicker.

I had my Iron Rangers rebuilt frequently until I got two pair and started rotating them. I haven't had to have either pair rebuilt since.
