Most of your comments are opinion and you sound like an a-hole with delivery. People can like things differently than you. It’s ok. Calling it like I see it.

Glass is just too pretty to bang up (in my opinion) I want my boat to keep value and not look beat to shite. Scars in glass look worse than aluminum (in my opinion).

I would much rather stand up and drive my center console when crossing open bays to fish barrier islands than wreck my back running in a 2' chop in a bass boat.

I fish 2-3 days a week. Why, pray tell would I feel the need to do that? I like to think of myself as being fairly intelligent

If you dont know why someone would want to fish the surf sides of the islands during the spring time when you can catch limits of 2-3 pound trout then i dont know what to tell you.

I feel like if people don’t take the exact route and fish the exact days using the exact baits and holding their mouthes exactly the same as you, you’re mind is blown as they are complete and total idiots that likely shouldn’t be allowed to procreate much less fish.

Check out Uncle J Custom boats. Can have one built for close to your budget depending on motor and size. A true forever boat

Those fish been a couple miles from the launch since November. I’m glad they’ll be where you can find them pretty soon. Enjoy

They sure have been and I will still be able to catch them in the spring and summer while you're stuck in the marsh.

Derp... why do they need to use a 42’ freeman to catch tuna, I just wait for them to be canned at rouses?
Derp... why didn’t they just use a bass boat instead of that ship in the Suez Canal?

Derp? Is that schoolgirl for gotcha?

As I said. I had a 22 bay boat and didn’t like it, decided I didn’t need and that was that. My daughter has a 22’ express that stays at my house half the time. I can use if I want but I don’t.

I’ve been to Cat and Raccoon islands plenty in my boat but I do it when it makes sense not because I finally get to go fishing so bygod I’m going even if it’s rough as shite. My brother in law has a 26’ cat I go with a couple times a year, Tuna and snapper, it’s just not my thing. To each his own

Sounds like the op has made up his mind anyway and good for him. Whatever he ends up with a bad day fishing is better than a good day working

20’ length minimum with the kids. I have an 18’ and 3 kids. I can’t bring them all it once bc it’s too crowded and they fight constantly. If they didn’t fight, and knew what they were doing like regular fishing buddies, it’d be tight but would work. I wish I had a 22’, but the 18’ is what I got.
