exactly, frick that shite, i just stuff mine between my seat and the console. its just as accessible and i don't have to worry about holes or residue from velcro tape

That would get so fricking aggravating! I have to lift my steering wheel up all the way when I get out.
+1, it would get in the way bigtime. That's why I intend to just get a fobus paddle holster and clip it to the inside of my door on the door storage compartment by my feet.

I ducted taped my pistol to steering wheel, heaven forbid air bag goes off.

i've tried that, it doesn't work like you think it would, the paddle doesn't have anything to go against the weight of the gun and it begins to fall all over the place

I would just duck tape it to your forehead then nobody would frick with you.

I wouldn't want it on my door when I'm opening an closing it all say. Between the seat and console is the best place IMO

I've seen it work fine, but it was in an older tundra and the door design was different. I'm not sure how it would work in my Ford, but I want the paddle holster anyway for a truck gun, just to be able to throw it on for open carry easily.
I need to get another pistol first, not sure when I'll be able to afford that though. I want too many toys and my truck needs bodywork

Oh nvm I see it now.
I'm 6'3", I have to put my steering wheel almost all the way tilted up even in my F150's giant cab so my knees don't bang it when I get in my truck. If I had a gun strapped below it, my knees would definitely hit it every time I got in. And this is with my seat pushed as far back as it goes.

I mostly want it for if I have to pump gas at night or something like that. Just to be able to throw it on and have it in quick reach.
