I just don't understand how the terms single or double action can be applied to striker fired weapons. The trigger does a whole lot on a striker gun. Drops about 4 safeties and loads the striker.

The 1903 is and internal hammer, it's considered a single blowback action.
A glock is a DA as far has I'm concerned, but Alx said it should be a new thing since its a fairly new design.......let's go with a 1.5 action.

That's the term I would apply to it if I had to call it something. If I had to call it either single or double, I'd call it double.
In my mind, it's just a striker-fired gun.
ETA: The terms single action and double action simply do not apply to it IMO.

ok,, i couldn't sleep last night worrying about this debate that has completely shaken the core roots of our once close brotherhood of the OB... At about 2:am, i came up with my answer and it's "what the hell does it matter, as long as it goes bow when you pull the damn trigger"?

Yesterday, I called my FFL buddy and placed my order for the New Judge that's coming out in 243-08-00 caliber..
