Yep, I really like them. My total is now up to 13. Think I may relax a bit.

I only owned Shimano until my son won a couple of Revos and they were smoother and casted significantly farther than my Curados. I still use Calcuttas for saltwater where I cast heavy popping corks and the slow ratio isn't an issue.

No doubt, Shimano decided manufacturing costs were too high and some models went downhill.

But I think they've woken up.

I own all three and it's a toss up between the Abu Garcia and the Lews.

I fish with both about equal amounts but probably prefer the Garcia.

I contacted Lews about making a large spool capacity inshore reel and hope they do.

I always believed that metal was more receptive to vibrations than plastic. So of course I like the metal better

Revo SX is a great reel for the money, shop around. I usually find them for around $140 online. I own 6 of them and they perform as well as my more expensive reels.
