These are the guys that I have fished with down in that area Capt. Dee Price, Herk Bergeron, Aaron Pierce, John Aucion, Lance Walker a few others can’t remember their name all good. Never fished with but I here good things about captain Frank Dreher. If you just need one boat I would most likely call Aaron Pierce. (Best inshore in my opinion). If you just want to make one phone call Lance Walker Fish Commander (Best offshore in my opinion) but does inshore too. He will most likely coordinate one or two additional captain’s maybe two of the above if you ask. He also has cabin’s for rent and maybe some yak’s for rent. I would fish in Leeville but stay on the island. More to do restaurants, bars should be able to get a good price on a place to stay that time of year but the fishing is just ok better in summer or latter after they transition. Good Luck
also maybe go bow fishing
also maybe go bow fishing

Does the camp on the bay have a lighted pier? If so, I would stay there. You can fish at night and also crab off the pier.

Take a bowfishing trip with Nick Cheramie with Midnight Blue Bowfishing, he can add another boat for a bigger group.

honestly you best option is go to mississippi casino
they run large boats out there that take around 50-60 people offshore and it only costs you like $60 a head
my cousin does this often and says its great but its a long boring ride out there and back but you cant get a better deal to go fishing and catch lots of fish
take the extra money you are saving and have a catered party and if you want strippers can be had to entertain
at the end of the day you should have more then you ever wanted and all within your budget

Go rent Theophile Bourgeois’s lodge for the two nights and use his guides. Get fed 3 meals a day, nice lodge, all rooms have private bath, pool table, nice inside and outside deck.
Plus-Uber will pick up and deliver you to any place in New Orleans. 15 minutes from the French Quarter and his guides will always put you on fish.
Spring for the plane to the Chandelier’s to surf fish for big trout. My wife has flown with him several times and has huge stringers of big trout.

If you're willing to go to Delacroix rent the house from Delacro Joe and a guide down there should be about $200/person for that many people.

Damn, they’re not wanting to spend $800 on a guide boat. Doubt their gonna rent the whole lodge and an airplane.

From 15 years of dealing with these large parties let me give you this advice. Once you decide that you are going to do it appoint one person the money guy and make everyone pay their share up front. If they drop out their money is gone unless they find someone to buy their spot out. I've seen too many times where people drop out and the folks remaining have to fork up larger amounts for rentals, etc.
I don't understand where folks are saying the October is a difficult month? October is one of the better months to fish in my opinion. We can usually do trout and if for some reason they do not want to cooperate redfish are usually off the chain during that time of the year.
My prices are listed on my website and while fishing gets to be expensive just keep in mind that the Yamaha 250 I just bought cost roughly 25K once it was installed, etc. Be happy to answer any other questions that you might have.
If you tell me which house you are looking at ton the bay I can give you a little more insight as to the pier. Some places behind the rock jetties have silted in and are very shallow, some have really good fishing.

Hi Reelscreamers. I've checked out your website. Great rates! Here is the Bayside property we're looking at.
LINK fishing camp
We're looking at this one for beach access
LINK beach house
We've already contacted Fish commander for offshore ($2200)
and H&M for inshore ($1400). 2 of the guys in the party are from New Mexico and Arizona and so we are hesitant about going offshore and getting sick, but the rest of the party are from SE LA and have done our fair share of inshore fishing so we're interested in offshore because we've never been. I'm not sure how easy this is to predict but how are conditions on average in October offshore?

Another option with kayaks is contact Eddie Mullen in PAC. He could trailer the kayaks to you for the weekend and pick them up Sunday afternoon. Would probably make you a good deal. I have his cell if you need it

Offshore fishing in October is really good the tuna are close you can also target several other species. Grouper, amberjack. Mangrove snapper, cobia. Its not a long run like it is during the summer if for some reason the week prior the weather looks bad I can always set you guys up on some of our inshore boats to make sure you go fishing.

I would stay at the place on the bay it’s worth a try fishing at night. Reelscreamers has some good advice about getting money up front. As far as fishing in October I should have mentioned I was talking about trout for me it’s been more hit or miss but I’m not a guide as reelscreamers said red fish should be easy to find and I was not aware offshore was a option it should be good that time of year as well. (This is what you should do)Not familiar with H&M is the inshore price for 2 boats ?
Posted on 3/3/19 at 2:07 pm to Geaux4lsu1
Man I'm getting fired up. Yeah, the price from H&M is for 2 24 ft Blazer Bay boats.
I'm leaning towards offshore. I've caught some nice bull reds down there but I would imagine the meat and the experience catching those offshore specie can't be beat. We may have to load up on the Dramamine.
I do like the idea of the Bayside camp because of that pier. I'm going to car top a couple of yaks too so that side would be great for that.
