My cousin said he opened the cage and the cat ran one way and he ran another.

I have also seen a huge white persian-looking cat at the same place but didn't get any pictures of him. There are no houses within miles of this camera.

I think Mr. Bigglesworth would be a more appropriate name for the cat in that trail cam image.

Jesus H Crist! I didn't say it was a 3 wheeler. It was a honda 90. get your facts straight before you question my credibility.

Yep, neck is too thick for a cougar. Can you photoshop it for us?

Also, a lot of people report "screams", when I think they are mistaken

Cougars do "scream." Now, whether or not that's what people are really hearing around here is another story. Bobcats make all kinds of evil sounding noises, more than likely that's what people hear.

And the noises wouldn't be made during a hunt, perhaps after but not during. When do cats make the most noise? In territory disputes and during mating.

But there are no pictures. No game cam footage. No road kills. Nothing but people that say they saw a black cat. And that's NATIONWIDE, it's not just a local thing in La.

How is it that out of the thousands of people that claim to have seen a black one, nobody got a picture, or shot it? They've been saying they were out there since they settled this country but not one single black hide or picture?

They're hanging out with bigfoot, or it's regular lions and the lights not reflecting right.

It's a trick of the light.

Dont they let animals like this out as another way to keep deer populations down. Maybe not here in LA. But i thought they used to do something similar in GA.

If you're interested in reading a book about the effects of the loss of apex predators, I suggest "Where the Wild Things Were" by William Stolzenburg. Pretty good read, and gave me a new appreciation for killer whales. Ha ha.
