If you pass more than 2 cars you are not pacing traffic and zipper merging correctly.

Sounds like you’re advocating for the early merge and not the zipper merge.

Drivers should use all available open lane space, and then actually zipper merge.

Without reading the rest of the thread:

“Ah…so “we” paid for this!”
Hmm. Do we need to retire and replace “does a bear shite in the woods?”
Well, he has had a strained relationship with Strangers in the past. Perhaps the driver wasn’t appropriately Tuning the radio.

Couldn’t this also make it easier, both monetarily and psychologically, to decide that they can pay off their debt?
I really dislike the trend of painting exterior brick walls white or grey.
Had a drive thru girl give me 4 or five nickels when the change I was owed was 56¢. When I gave her the stack back, she looked surprised.

I’m not sure if the problem was math deficiency, inattention, or she was just trying to give me something hoping I wouldn’t notice because her drawer was out of change. Held up the line for a bit while they got me correct change, unfortunately. Haha.

I think you’re confusing/combining Walker Howard and Eli Holstein, even though Howard did leave LSU for Ole Miss and Kiffin…

No goal in mind, as always, other than “more than last year.”

My 2026 list follows:

complex systems in the body that are made of things that would be of no use without the other things

Is this the “what good is half an eye” argument?

but no one knows which one because every attempt to duplicate this spontaneous formation of the actual building blocks of the polymer in a lab have utterly failed, so the key initial creation step must be accepted on "Faith", which is quite the delicious irony...

The God of the Gaps goes all the way to the beginning!
Is it possible that a person whose postgraduate degrees are in history and philosophy, even if it is philosophy of science, might misunderstand and misinterpret advanced scientific theories and arguments and then draw incorrect conclusions?
This Isla Dawn broad was once in WWE, right? I recall that booty.

These are true facts!

I’m not sure Hangman understands proper chains as jewelry.
Hello, all ye puny humans!!!!

I don’t believe I’ve been in a thread, much less watched wrestling, in weeks. How is everyone?

quote:

Seems like a match for a million dollars would not be the second match on a weekly show.

It’s wrestling money. That stuff grows on trees.

Funnily enough, the “bird-hipped” dinosaurs aren’t even the ones most closely related to birds.
quote:

I don't want to believe that dinosaurs had cloacas and I don't have to

I’m confused by this. What do you want them to have, and why wouldn’t they have cloacae considering the overall clade in which they fall?

Turtles have cloaca.
Alligators have cloaca.
Snakes have cloaca
Birds have cloaca.

Apologies if I’m missing some sort of joke.

What does the word "raptor" mean?

Something like “pillager” or “thief.”
quote:

What they portray is closer to a Utahraptor. The name just isn’t as cool as velociraptor

It’s not even that. Utahraptor wasn’t officially named in science until the same month the movie came out, which was well after the book was written.

If anything, the “Velociraptors” in the Park films are scaled up Deinonychus. I’m pretty sure one of the paleontologists used as a consultant for the novel (Horne?) had tried lumping the Deinonychus genus under Velociraptor in the 80s, and Crichton thought the word sounded cooler (subjective) and, in my opinion, is easier to say.

They do plenty around these parts.
