me. I'm a bit weird on this. I won't even look at a rifle if I've so much as sniffed alcohol, but a couple miller lights on an afternoon dove hunt doesn't bother me as long as it's not any more than that.

You frickers that drink while duck hunting are just alcoholics though.

I really don't see a difference. I'm drinking if I'm not on stand and bringing beer with me sometimes. And drinking afterwards. I'm not getting plastered. Our camp is a drinking camp. It's me and a few family members and my HS padnuhs. We drinking together. Don't like it, don't come, and we killing deer because it's managed right. If you don't kill, at least you get to see deer.

It is apparent from this thread that various different opinions exist on this subject. It is not a right or wrong matter, the only opinion that matters is the landowner's.

I think there is a big correlation between where in the state your grew up and your views on the matter. It's not 100% but it plays a part.

I'm not letting you on my property (for any reason) if I know you have been drinking and the family club I was in before didn't allow it either. I'm not saying some people didn't have alcohol in their camps but you drank that in private and you better not let anyone know you were grabbing a gun having had one.

As far as other people's property, I'm not a fan of hunting with anyone that had been drinking. I'd just decline any invitation. People have the right to do what they want on their own property.

fig's down voting me. Dont care. I'm drinking at the camp, on the way to the stand, in the stand, on the way back to the camp, and at the camp. No pussies allowed.

It's literally as easy as who's side of the family the land belongs to. I've gone on many hunts on other people's land and they say wait until the hunt is over to crack open the first beer and you just oblige. When I hunt my land or my family's land I will drink a few while hunting and if someone has an issue, then they can just setup further than a 100 yards from me.

They really shouldn't but being idiots, they don't know better. Thankfully, Those of us who aren't idiots have no issue drinking whilst watching a mostly empty hot AF dove field and trying to figure how to get the game on the TV plugged into the 110 in the bed of the truck.

It might be said that it is because they are selfish, immature, self serving idiots that care about nothing but their own personal pleasures.
Safety of others comes secondary to them when they are sitting on stand fapping away while chugging beers.

The issue is that it is sometimes hard to tell who the idiots are before they start drinking or who turn from non-idiots to complete idiots once they do.
